Eggs of stressed and non-stressed Chickens?

  1. Beautiful photo, as always. I don't know what causes this. My chickens sometimes lay eggs like these. Oooh, it looks as if it was a painful process.

  2. Thank you Ellen for you nice comment!!
I bought these eggs today and some of them really look like a result of a painful process, as you say! - Interesting to hear that you get something like this of your own chickens sometimes also!

    1. I have once earlier got an egg like this from the supermarket. I don't know whether the reason is stress or not; let's hope it isn't.

  5. I like a lot about this small and simple - and humorous - still life as a photo.
